Dance Fit Fest is the data controller for the personal information you share with us. This notice explains what we collect, why we collect it and the rights you have under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect. Your name, phone number, address, email address, town or city, payment and bank or card details where you pay for a place, any access or health information you choose to tell us about, and anything else you give us when you book, subscribe or send a message.

Why we use it. To manage your booking and take payment, to understand who is coming to each event and plan it safely, to run and improve the service, to reply to you, and to let you know when Dance Fit Fest is coming to your area if you have asked for updates.

Our legal bases. Performing our contract with you when you book, your consent for marketing updates, our legitimate interests in running and improving the festival safely, and our legal obligations such as keeping financial records.

Sharing. We never sell your details. We share them only with the services that help us run the festival, such as our booking, payment and email providers, our venues where required for entry and safety, and anyone we must share with by law. Where any provider is outside the UK, we make sure suitable safeguards are in place.

How long we keep it. Booking and payment records are kept for up to seven years to meet accounting and tax rules. Marketing details are kept until you unsubscribe. Everything else is deleted once we no longer need it.

Keeping it safe. Your details are stored securely and only the team that runs the festival can see them. Card payments are handled by our payment provider and full card numbers are never stored by us.

Your rights. You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for it to be moved to another provider, and withdraw consent or unsubscribe at any time. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies. We use only the cookies needed to make the site work and to understand how it is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

Children. Under 16s must be booked in by a parent or guardian, who gives us their details on their behalf.
